MMG supported enrollment for a study investigating a treatment for erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease that required 644 participants at 100 sites.

Results

  • MMG exceeded the randomization goal by 20 patients and completed recruitment 4 weeks ahead of schedule.
  • 271 patients (42 percent of those required for the study) were randomized as a direct result of MMG’s advertising efforts.
  • 76 percent of the sites recruited patients as a result of advertising efforts.
  • The MMG contact center answered more than 13,000 calls prescreened more than 6,800 people, and referred more than 4,600 people to study sites.
